On August 23 we lost one of our oldest and dearest friends in Cortona, the beloved Gino. Countless generations of UGA Cortona students knew him, and played bocce, danced, learned some Italian, stomped grapes, and attended Sagre with him. He loved UGA and the students he met over the years; he took care of our buildings and our grounds and many of us as well.
