2012 Cortona Student-Faculty Exhibition & Reunion

April 29, 2013 in Program News, Alumni News

An exhibition of works by students, faculty and staff who took part in the Cortona Study-Abroad Program during spring, summer and fall semesters in 2012 were on display in the Suite Gallery on the third floor of the Lamar Dodd School of Art Building. A closing ceremony and reception was held on Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. Students from the past year congregate in Athens yearly for this “Reunion” and it is an opportunity for them to collect their work which has been shipped by container from Cortona to Athens. Students enjoy this time to reconnect, many attending other colleges and universities along with their UGA Dodd classmates. This year’s reception was extremely well attended.

This year’s exhibition was featured in UGA’s Columns publication which you can read here
