After a successful national search, we are happy to announce that Kristine Schramer as Associate Director of the Cortona Studies Abroad Program. We feel Kristine will be a true benefit for the program due to her experience with the Italian culture and language, her talent and expertise as a painting and drawing artist/instructor and her previous background with art based studies abroad in Italy.

Kristine earned her MFA from Indiana University, Bloomington and a BA in Fine Art from The College of William and Mary, Virginia. Since 2001 she has served as full-time faculty at Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio. She has taught for the Institute for Italian and Sardinian Studies, Santu Lussugiu, Sardinia, Italy as well as the Indiana University Study Abroad Program in Florence, Italy.
